The language school in Brighton offers preparation courses for two important British and internationally recognized exams: IELTS and Cambridge ESOL. The courses cover all areas of writing, speaking and reading and specially trained teachers offer help with all questions relating to the exam. Authentic test material is used for training, regular practice tests are completed and each student`s progress is individually recorded and discussed. We guarantee that in this way all our participants are fully prepared for the respective exams.
The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) qualification is required by many universities in English speaking countries. We require that you have at least an intermediate level of English to take part in the IELTS exam preparation courses. We offer four or eight-week courses of 30 lessons per week to help prepare you intensively for the exam. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes and the course starts on any Monday in Brighton.
The Cambridge ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) preparation course is ideal preparation for attaining internationally recognised certificates. The course is aimed at those who have at least an upper-intermediate level of English. There are three different levels of the Cambridge ESOL certificate: FCE (First Certificate of English), CAE (Certificate in Advanced English), and CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English). The courses in Brighton prepare the participants for the specific FCE or CAE exam they want to take. The Cambridge ESOL preparation courses are offered for between 4, 8, 11, and 12 weeks and consist of 20 or 30 lessons per week. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes.
The lessons alternate between morning and afternoon sessions.
