Our wonderful English language school has been operating for more than 50 years. We offer well-organised educational language holidays to Bournemouth, which is a safe and relaxing area to visit.
The English courses for juniors are organised during Easter and summer holidays. During their stay, the youngsters have the unique opportunity to make friends, experience different cultures, and practice their newly acquired English knowledge with other kids and teens from all over the world. We offer two different programmes: Students can choose between our homestay and our residence programme (summer only).
Lessons take place in the residence during the morning, while activities and excursions are scheduled for the afternoon. Participants in the language course will stay at the residence, in shared rooms. The school residence and its excellent facilities are available to participants who want to learn English in England during the summer holidays between July and August. The host family programme takes place in the centre of Southampton in the main school building. Students have their activities in the morning and the English lessons in the afternoon. All host families are within walking distance.
On Saturdays or Thursdays (depending on the programme), the school organises all-day excursions to places like London, Oxford, and Bath. On Sundays, the school offers optional activities on the beach, watersports possibilities, visits to Thorpe Park theme park, and the Chessington World of Adventures. The youngsters can regularly participate in evening activities such as a school disco, a karaoke night, a quiz night, and table tennis tournaments.
Each teacher has on average just five students. This is to ensure that there is adequate supervision for every student. The employees are multilingual. Of course, everybody speaks English most of the time, but in the event of an emergency, students can also communicate in German. For teachers accompanying a group of juniors, we offer free accommodation, airport transfers, excursions, as well as free Internet access. In some cases, we can also arrange flights.
